Meet our
staff & Family.
The things we all have in common are: 1. We love Jesus 2. We love a BBQ.

PHIL WHEELER
Phil is filling in as our Lead Pastor, holding the seat as we look for a Pastor to lead Living Water in the years ahead. Phil is a country lad, born in Armidale in northern NSW. He came to the city for education and worked initially as a Civil Engineer. Phil has spent the majority of his working life in church ministry. He enjoys golf, kayaking, bushwalking, farming and watching Australia win any sport. He describes himself as an amateur barista… you can sample his coffee at church. Phil is married to Jill and they have 3 adult children.

Fili Lolohea
Fili works as our Pastor, Evangelist not only overseeing youth, families and men’s ministries but sharing Christ with unreached people groups. Fili is from Auckland, New Zealand and was a professional NRL player with South Sydney followed by London Broncos/Harlequin RL in England. Fili then studied the Bible at Moore Theological College. You will see Fili running sport activities with youth around the area. Fili is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with the range of people he meets in the Redfern community. He also enjoys explaining what the Bible says about Jesus at some of our Saturday services. He is married to Lijana, a teacher with a career history of teaching at Indigenous schools. They have three active kids!

BRIDGET ALLEN
Bridget has worshipped and served at Living Water for the past 3 years and this year joined the staff team as our Student Minister. Bridget, through her work as a medical doctor, has worked in Alice Springs Hospital and as part of Aboriginal health and ageing projects in Sydney. Bridget has a great respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples - their strength, humour and compassion in the face of great past and present injustices. Bridget is in first year at Moore Theological College.

Annika Jolliffe
Annika assists Lijana in caring for the kids and families at church by running Kids' Church each week. She grew up in Western Sydney with her parents and three siblings, and they all love to spend time together cooking, bushwalking and skateboarding. Annika is in her last year of study at Moore Theological College, and has joined Living Water because she loves to see her Aboriginal brothers and sisters growing in their love of Jesus, and raising their kids to do the same. After college, she hopes to keep teaching the Bible to kids, and to see more of the amazing reconciliation that Jesus offers- reconciliation with God and with other people.
here for you.
